In the southernmost end of Erie County, our department is located within the 1 square mile Village of Farnham, in the Town of Brant.

Since 1923 our dedicated 100% volunteer department provides fire fighting protection, vehicle extrication rescue, fire police,  fire education, and basic life support medical services.

Our department currently operates out of 1 fire station with 2 fire engines/pumpers and 1 basic life support ambulance.

We provided coverage to a primarily residential area with farms, routes 5 & 20, and Evangola State Park.  We also provide mutual aid to various surrounding departments as needed.

When a man becomes a fireman his greatest act of bravery has been accomplished.  What he does after that is all in the line of work. – Edward Croker
